Spell Damage Ranking

How these numbers are computed. Every figure runs the exact same damage model as the individual skill pages, so they always agree. Expected damage is the average hit with the caster's critical chance folded in (crit multiplier weighted by crit chance), before any enemy resistance. DPE (damage per energy) is the expected damage divided by the skill's energy cost: it measures how efficiently a spell turns your shared energy pool into damage. Free basic attacks cost no energy, so they have no DPE. DPS (damage per second) is the expected damage divided by the effective cooldown (cooldown after cooldown reduction, but never faster than the caster's attack interval): it measures sustained throughput. A basic attack's DPS comes from its attack interval.

Each skill uses its own stock caster (the canonical wielder of its weapon) at the build cap, level 4, with stock wood-tier gear. The caster is shown under each tree. DPE x3 / DPS x3 are the area-of-effect throughput when the skill hits 3 targets (blank for single-target skills; capped at the skill's own AoE cap). Sorted by DPE; click any header to re-sort. Monster attack "damage to you" ranking (133)

Expected hit against a stock Lowell (Wooden Sword, level 4) at Hard combat difficulty, the balanced baseline. Higher difficulties scale the numbers up (Very Hard x1.5, Devastation x2 attack). One row per attacking monster; the physical and magic split each use the matching resistance, and DPS is the single-target throughput from the monster's attack cadence. Sorted by expected hit.
