Talents & Stat Growth

Steam

Every unit has 6 major stats and a separate talent rating for each one. The talent rating decides how much that stat grows each time the unit levels up. Ratings run across 5 tiers.

Moderate2-43
Outstanding3-54
Exceptional4-65

Rolls and offerings

The exact gain is rolled randomly inside the tier's range at each level-up. The roll is then multiplied by your offering choice:

  • Least Offering x1
  • Ordinary Offering x1.2
  • Plentiful Offering x1.5

So the best tier with the richest offering can gain 7.5-10.5 points in a single level.

Derived stats

Major stats feed derived (final) stats by a flat per-point amount, shown in-game as "Per Stat +X". Each point of Strength adds +1 Physical Attack Power, +4 Max Weight, +0.05 Mining Capability, +0.05 Logging Capability.

  • Strength feeds Max Weight +4, Physical Attack Power +1, Mining Capability +0.05, Logging Capability +0.05
  • Constitution feeds Max Health Total +9, Physical Resistance +0.3, Construction Capability +0.05
  • Willpower feeds Max Energy +2, Magic Attack Power +0.4, Cooldown Reduction +0.3, Taming Capability +0.05, Farming Capability +0.05
  • Intelligence feeds Magic Attack Power +1.2, Magic Resistance +0.3, Research Capability +0.05
  • Agility feeds Physical Attack Power +0.5, Movement Speed +0.2, Gathering Capability +0.05, Crafting Capability +0.05, Attack Speed +0.01
  • Perception feeds Physical Attack Power +0.5, Magic Attack Power +0.4, Critical Chance +0.3, Cooking Capability +0.05
Watch outPhysical Attack Power also draws on Agility +0.5, Perception +0.5 per point, on top of its base value: 13.5 + Strength x1 + Agility x0.5 + Perception x0.5.
NoteA parallel internal "x0.02" growth model exists in the data, but it is an unused placeholder. The live model is the flat per-point one.

Inscription of Perfection

RuleThe Legendary Inscription of Perfection bumps every talent up one tier, capped at Genius, which is why it compounds so well over a full 12-level career.

Research Lab

The Research Lab raises a unit's Research capability by room quality, from +30% in the Poor Research Lab to +210% in the Fantastic Research Lab:

  • Poor Research Lab: +30%
  • Mediocre Research Lab: +60%
  • Normal Research Lab: +90%
  • Decent Research Lab: +120%
  • Impressive Research Lab: +150%
  • Luxurious Research Lab: +180%
  • Fantastic Research Lab: +210%

The bonus speeds up research work.
