Your base is the cleared ground around the camp; everything else is corrupted creep held by dark thorn vines. Throwing
Larmes de la Déesse removes vines and the creep under them, and the settlement grows by that ground.
Larmes de la Déesse peut être utilisé pour retirer les ronces sombres.
La corruption créée par les ronces sera également supprimée.
On peut parfois trouver une vaste clairière au-delà de la corruption.
How one throw expands the base
The throw
| Throw range | 5 tuiles |
| Blast area | circle, radius 3 tuiles |

The vines
A small vine holds the creep within 2 tiles of itself, a big vine within 4 tiles. About 8% of the vines are big.
Vines cannot be attacked or demolished; only the blast removes them. Every creep tile is inside the reach of at least one vine, so any patch can be cleared.
What one throw does
- The settlement starts as the base-area rooms rolled from the base-area table; every other tile of the map is creep, covered by dark thorn vines that the generator scatters over it.
- Each vine covers a circle of creep: the small-vine radius for a small vine, the big-vine radius for a big one; a vine is big with the big-vine probability, otherwise small. The generator keeps adding vines until every creep tile is covered by at least one vine.
- Goddess's Tears is thrown at a target tile within its throw range and bursts over a circle of its blast radius. Every vine whose own coverage circle touches that blast is removed - the blast does not need to hit the vine itself.
- For each removed vine, the creep inside its coverage circle disappears unless another vine still covers the tile. The exposed ground is added to the playable map (terrain is built around it and the map bounds grow).
- A base field hidden under the creep is discovered when the blast exposes it, and the buildings and item piles listed for that area spawn. A unit walking into an exposed field discovers it as well.
- The vines are indestructible buildings: the only way to remove them is the Goddess's Tears blast.
- The game starts an autosave after every successful clearing.

What you uncover
Base areas you can uncover
The camp is assembled from 51 pre-made area templates. Areas hidden under the creep are discovered when a blast exposes them or a unit walks in, and their buildings and item piles appear then.
| Area type | Templates | Roll weight | Style de décoration | Most common buildings and props |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Central | 2 | 100 each | Sous-sol | |
| FirstFarmArea | 1 | 100 each | Sous-sol | |

| Petit | 25 | 100 each | Sous-sol |
The game only builds the creep out to 9 tiles beyond your cleared ground and pushes that ring outward as you clear. Developer note: Renders the creep area at the base out to a distance of 9 from the creep
