Mood

STATUS_Mood · Flat stat 1 decimal On: Player units

Represents the current emotional state of a unit. You can check mood influencing factors via the 'Mood' tab in the 'Status' panel.

If Mood is below 0, Stress increases proportionally.
If Mood is above 0, Stress decreases proportionally.

Mood decreases due to negative conditions like hunger or extended dungeon stays, and increases through positive experiences like resting or eating good food.

When Stress maxes out

When Stress reaches Max Stress, the unit rolls Despair Overcome Chance (10% by default). On a success, Stress resets to 0 and the unit gets Heroic Spirit for 2 in-game hours. On a failure, Stress resets to 0, the unit gets Mental Collapse for 12 in-game hours and Mental Collapse: Panic for 2 in-game hours. Reaching Max Stress again while Mental Collapse is still on kills the unit.

No effect or item a player can get changes Despair Overcome Chance.
