Biography
Leaving behind a comfortable estate, (unit name) took old maps and expensive gear and set out for unknown lands. Even on long roads, they rarely let their collar fall out of place, and before ruins and mountains they had never seen, their eyes shone like a child's. Yet when things failed to go as prepared, they were often caught off guard.
(unit name) spent more time in distant ports and foreign markets than in banquet halls. They searched through records left by scholars, wrote down the words of local guides, and grew easily excited by blank spaces left on maps. As the years passed, they came to miss unfamiliar landscapes more than familiar comforts.
As a noble adventurer, (unit name) knew well that wealth and name could open the way. Fine horses, sturdy equipment, and carefully written letters of introduction carried them through many doors, but they were little help against harsh weather and broken roads. In those moments, they felt for the first time that their own strength was being tested.
