On nights when candlelight flickered low, they copied forbidden passages and added their own interpretations beside symbols they could not understand. But after looking into too many secrets, they began searching for meaning even in ordinary silence.

As the years passed, they became more familiar with dangerous questions than with safe answers.

As an occultist, (unit name) knew that every secret came with a price. Each time they studied nameless rites and ancient symbols, their mind wore down little by little, but their steps toward hidden truths did not easily stop. Because of that, they often suspected even kindness of hiding some deeper intent.
