Biography

VARIANT 1

From childhood, (unit name) grew up swinging a pickaxe deep in the mines. Even in choking dust and before walls of stone that seemed ready to collapse, they never stopped working, and with every vein they broke open, their body grew stronger. Yet after spending so many years in the dark, they struggled to settle into the noise and brightness of the surface.

VARIANT 2

Having lived beneath the earth, (unit name) learned to read the grain of stone and sense the path of ore veins. Even by the faint glow of a lamp, they brought the pickaxe down without hesitation and crossed long tunnels with heavy ore on their back. As the years passed, they became as steady as solid rock, difficult to shake.

VARIANT 3

To (unit name), the mines were not a place to fear, but a workplace and a home. Amid falling stones and clouds of dirt, they stayed calm and held their ground, and whenever they faced something harder than stone, they found even more strength. But since a pickaxe had always come easier than words, they often seemed rough when faced with complicated feelings.
