White Mawmurk Hunt

As you speak to her, she sits upon a nearby rock.

“Don’t get cocky just because you managed to hunt a mere Mawmurk.”

She pulls out a piece of white fur from inside her coat and shows it to you.

“Around here, a white one appears every now and then. It rarely shows itself like the others, but it’s highly intelligent-clever enough to use even simple magic.”

She brushes her fingers across the fur and adds mockingly,

"Don’t tell me you’re already trembling in fear?”

She lets out a faint chuckle at your reply.

“A White Mawmurk is no common beast. When they catch sight of a person… they do not flee. They hunt.”

Her fingertips idly pluck at the bowstring.

“No shame in fear, mind you. Though I’ve little use for it myself.”

After a brief pause, she casts you a sidelong glance and gives a small shrug.

“If terror takes hold of you, there’s no shame in walking away.”
