Hunt Mawmurk

While dressing her kill, she senses your presence and spins around.

"You had better not come any closer."

Her hand is poised to draw the bowstring at any moment. You slowly raise both hands and step back.

"We mean you no harm."

"...Guild expedition folk cannot be trusted. Every last one of you is weak."

She points to the carcass of an enormous beast sprawled at her feet and sneers.

"You will probably end up as Mawmurk food before long."

Several expedition members stiffen at her open provocation and start forward, but you raise a hand to restrain them.

The pile of game beside her still reeks of fresh blood.

"They have sharp noses. They tear into the weak and frightened first."

She lets out a short scoff.

"So take my advice. Build skill, not bravado."

At your question, she narrows her eyes in displeasure.

"I have no reason to tell you."

"It seems you are not affiliated with the Guild."

"Are you saying I need the Guild's permission to hunt beasts?"

The Guild classifies anyone who enters the Dungeon without authorization as an illegal explorer. When you point this out, she scoffs.

"If you intend to wave the Guild's rules in my face, forget it. I need no one's permission."
