Clan Rank
Your clan advances through numbered ranks by accumulating contribution points. The rank table defines 7 ranks, but the base game caps the highest available rank at 2 - ranks 3 through 7 are defined in the data but locked in the current build.
Each rank-up costs more contribution (roughly 100 for rank 1, then 200, 300, and so on up to 700) and improves your settlement in several ways: from rank 2 onward each rank adds +1 to your population cap, you get more recruitment candidates per refresh (6-7 at low ranks, up to 8-10 at the highest), and the candidates you see are higher level. Higher ranks also unlock better room quality tiers and additional research.
Rank also changes who you can recruit: Elves only become available at clan rank 2 (they are impossible to roll at rank 1), while Humans and Lizardmen are available from the start.
